Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: June 2026

Welcome to Memora. By purchasing a Memora memorial page, QR code, or related services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Service Description

Memora provides personalized digital memorial pages that can be accessed through a unique QR code. These pages may contain biographies, photographs, videos, tributes, and other memorial content submitted by the customer.

Memora reserves the right to update, improve, or modify its services at any time.

2. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information and content.
  • Obtaining permission to use all submitted photographs, videos, and other materials.
  • Ensuring submitted content does not violate any laws, copyrights, trademarks, or third-party rights.
  • Reviewing all information before final approval.

Memora is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information supplied by the customer.

3. Content Guidelines

Customers may not upload or submit content that:

  • Is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, or offensive.
  • Violates copyright or intellectual property rights.
  • Contains hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content.
  • Includes malicious software or harmful code.

Memora reserves the right to refuse, remove, or modify content that violates these guidelines.

4. QR Code Usage

Each QR code is assigned to a specific memorial page.

Customers may:

  • Print the QR code on headstones, plaques, cards, or other materials.
  • Share the QR code with family and friends.

Customers may not:

  • Resell Memora QR codes without written permission.
  • Use the QR code for unlawful activities.

5. Payment

All payments must be completed before a memorial page is published.

Payments are processed through authorized payment providers such as PayPal and other supported payment methods.

Prices are subject to change without prior notice; however, existing paid subscriptions or plans will remain valid for their purchased term.

6. Subscription and Renewal

Certain Memora packages may include annual renewal fees.

Failure to pay renewal fees may result in:

  • Suspension of the memorial page.
  • Removal of hosted content after a reasonable grace period.

Memora will make reasonable efforts to notify customers before renewal dates.

7. Customer Content Ownership

Customers retain ownership of the content they submit.

By submitting content to Memora, the customer grants Memora a non-exclusive license to:

  • Store the content.
  • Display the content on the memorial page.
  • Maintain backups necessary for service operation.

This license exists only for the purpose of providing Memora services.

8. Service Availability

Memora strives to maintain continuous service availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Temporary interruptions may occur due to:

  • Maintenance
  • Server issues
  • Third-party service outages
  • Circumstances beyond Memora’s control

9. Refund Policy

Because memorial pages involve custom digital services and setup work, payments are generally non-refundable once page creation has begun.

Refund requests submitted before work has started may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Memora shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of data caused by customer actions.
  • Service interruptions beyond reasonable control.
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

The customer’s sole remedy shall be limited to the amount paid for the service.

11. Termination

Memora may suspend or terminate services if:

  • These Terms & Conditions are violated.
  • Fraudulent activity is detected.
  • Required payments are not received.

12. Privacy

Personal information submitted to Memora will be used solely for providing and maintaining the service.

Memora will not sell customer information to third parties.

13. Changes to Terms

Memora may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
